About Coinpurse
Everyday money, made clear. Who we are, what we cover across Banking, Credit, Saving, Budgeting and Rewards, how we report and correct our work, and how to reach the Coinpurse editorial desk.
Coinpurse is an independent publication covering Personal finance, saving, credit, banking, budgeting. Everyday money, made clear — written for Consumers, young professionals, and published on a simple premise: the people who actually do this work deserve the version that survives contact with it.

Why Coinpurse exists
Coverage of Banking, Credit, Saving, Budgeting and Rewards tends to split into two unhelpful halves: press releases with a byline attached, and commentary from people who have never had to ship, buy, or live with the thing being discussed. Coinpurse was started to sit in the gap — close enough to the subject to know what actually changed, far enough from it to say so plainly.
Our editorial voice is deliberate: friendly, plain-language, empowering. That shows up as head-to-head comparisons, reviews, ranked lists, how-to guides and explainers — whichever format answers the question a reader actually arrived with, rather than whichever one fills the most space.
Who writes here
Every piece on Coinpurse carries the name of the person who reported and wrote it. 5 writers currently file for us across Banking, Credit, Saving, Budgeting and Rewards, and each of them keeps a profile page listing their background, their beat, and everything they've published on this site.
Where a story has been independently fact-checked, the reviewer is credited separately from the writer, so you can tell who reported a claim and who checked it. Nothing here is published under a house byline or an invented persona.
What we cover
- Banking Checking, savings, and how to pick a bank account that actually fits how you live.
- Credit Cards, scores, and building credit without the jargon or the sales pitch.
- Saving Practical ways to put money aside, from emergency funds to long-term goals.
- Budgeting Tools and habits for knowing where your money actually goes each month.
- Rewards Cashback, points, and card perks — what they're actually worth once you account for the annual fee and the redemption math.
How we work
-
We report before we opine
Analysis on Coinpurse starts from something checkable — a filing, a release, a data set, a conversation with someone who was in the room. Where we're inferring rather than reporting, the piece says so in the sentence that does the inferring.
-
Corrections happen in public
When we get something wrong we fix it in place and note the correction on the article itself, with what changed and when. We don't quietly edit a mistake out of the record.
-
Commercial relationships never buy coverage
We may earn from some links. Our recommendations are independent. Sponsored links are marked where they appear and carry the appropriate link attributes. No sponsor sees a story before publication, and no commercial relationship decides whether a topic gets covered or what we conclude about it.
-
We write for the person doing the work
This site is written for Consumers, young professionals — not for a search engine, and not for an industry insider looking to be flattered. If a piece can't survive being read by someone who does this for a living, it isn't ready to publish.
